For sale my fantastic super-fast Boardman Hybrid Pro Bike. Size Med (49cm) Approx weight 10kg. One careful lady owner. If you want all the speed of a road bike but prefer flat bar controls and great Deore hydraulic disc brakes then this is the bike for you. It cost £999 to buy with 10sp installed. I've upgraded it to 1 x 11 speed with a Shimano Deore M8000 cassette, derailleur, brakes, chain and installed a Force CX1 carbon chainset at an additional cost of £520 - I have only done 113 miles on it since the upgrade but have bought another bike so reluctantly, I'm selling this one as my partner says I can't keep them all. The Cassette is XT M8000 11-40 11 13 15 17 19 21 24 28 32 36 40 and the CX1 Force Chainring is 46T with 170mm carbon cranks. (This is the equivalent of a 50/34 12-30 cassette for comparison) The size guide says it's suitable for 5'7" to 5'10" I have put a brand new set of Vredestein Xtreme Senso tyres 260g at a cost of £60, they roll beautifully. I am also including a set of Panaracer Ribmo tyres, more heavy duty at 345g but absolutely bombproof and great for winter or commuting or just puncture free cycling. These cost £50 and have done approx 300 miles so good for at least another 3000+ miles :) I will include the GP1 ergo grips and bar-ends (Cost £35) as well as the original unused Boardman lock grips. The bars have been cut from 600mm to 500mm so are much more stream-lined. It comes with the original unused saddle as I used my own and new Wellgo pedals. I'll include the original booklet too. The aluminium body is so smooth with no visible welding it looks exactly like a carbon bike. It has a carbon fork and carbon seatpost. Recommended tyre width 25-38mm Full mudguard and rear rack compatible. Any questions please ask. Cash on collection only.
